GeoBrakes ships brake parts to every state in the United States using trusted commercial carriers. Every order is fully tracked from the moment it leaves our warehouse to the moment it arrives at your door. All applicable US customs duties and import taxes are included in your order total at checkout — you will never receive a surprise bill at delivery. This page covers everything you need to know about how we ship, when you can expect delivery, and what happens if something goes wrong.

1. Free Shipping

GeoBrakes offers free shipping on all orders of $99 or more shipped to any address within the United States including Alaska and Hawaii. Orders under $99 are subject to a standard shipping fee calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight of your order.

Free shipping applies to standard ground and cross-border delivery only. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout for an additional charge.

2. All Duties and Taxes Included

All GeoBrakes orders shipped to the United States are delivered on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis. This means all applicable US customs duties, import taxes, and cross-border processing fees are calculated and included in your order total at checkout. You will not be asked to pay any additional charges when your package arrives. The price you see at checkout is the total price you pay, with no surprises at your door.

3. Delivery Timelines

We process and dispatch orders placed before 12:00 PM Central Time on the same business day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM Central Time are dispatched on the next business day. Orders placed on weekends or Canadian public holidays are dispatched on the next business day.

Estimated delivery times from dispatch are as follows:

Northeast US — New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Delaware, Maryland: 2 to 4 business days

Southeast US — Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky: 3 to 5 business days

Midwest US — Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota: 2 to 4 business days

Southwest US — Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Arizona: 3 to 5 business days

West US — California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah: 4 to 6 business days

Alaska and Hawaii: 7 to 12 business days

These are estimated timelines and include standard cross-border processing time at the US-Canada border. Actual delivery times may vary depending on carrier volume, weather conditions, customs processing speeds, public holidays, and remote location processing times. GeoBrakes is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our control including border processing backlogs and customs inspection delays.

4. Carrier Partners

GeoBrakes ships all US orders through UPS, FedEx, and DHL. The carrier selected for your order is determined by your location, the size and weight of your order, and the most efficient cross-border route available at the time of dispatch. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched along with a link to track your shipment directly with the assigned carrier.

5. Tracking Your Order

A tracking number is sent to the email address on your order within 24 hours of dispatch. If you have not received a tracking email within 24 hours of placing your order, check your spam or junk folder before contacting us. You can also track your order at any time by visiting our Order Tracking page and entering your order number.

Please note that tracking updates may show a brief pause while your shipment is processing through the US-Canada border. This is normal and does not indicate a problem with your order. Tracking activity typically resumes within 1 to 2 business days of the last Canadian scan.

6. Shipping Coverage

GeoBrakes ships to all 50 US states including Alaska and Hawaii. We ship to all physical addresses including residential addresses, business addresses, and commercial receiving docks. We do not ship to PO boxes. We do not ship to freight forwarding addresses or package consolidation addresses. Orders placed to freight forwarding addresses will be cancelled and refunded.

7. Extended Distance Surcharge

In order to continue making our products available to customers in all areas of the United States, GeoBrakes applies an Extended Distance Surcharge to shipments destined for addresses that are significantly farther from standard carrier routes, including certain rural addresses, remote communities, and specific zip codes in Alaska and Hawaii. If your address falls within a surcharge zone, the additional fee will be clearly displayed during the checkout process before you complete your purchase. You will always have the opportunity to review any additional fees before confirming your order.

8. Cross-Border Processing and Customs

All GeoBrakes shipments to the United States cross the US-Canada border and are processed through US Customs and Border Protection. As all duties and taxes are included in your order price on a DDP basis, no action is required from you at any stage of the customs process. In rare cases, US Customs and Border Protection may select a shipment for additional inspection. GeoBrakes has no control over customs inspection decisions and is not responsible for delays caused by customs holds, inspections, or processing backlogs. No refunds or cancellations will be issued on the basis of customs-related delays.

9. Public Holidays and Non-Business Days

Our carrier partners observe both Canadian and US federal public holidays. On days when either Canadian or US carriers are not operating, shipments will not move and estimated delivery timelines will be extended accordingly. During peak periods such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Fourth of July, carrier networks experience higher volumes which may result in additional delays. GeoBrakes is not responsible for holiday-related carrier delays and no refunds or cancellations will be issued on the basis of holiday delivery delays.

10. Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

It is the customer's sole responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address at the time of checkout including the correct zip code, unit number, and state. GeoBrakes is unable to modify a shipping address once an order has been dispatched.

If a shipment is returned to our Canadian warehouse due to an incorrect address, refused delivery, failed delivery attempts, or an undeliverable address provided by the customer, the following applies:

GeoBrakes will contact you to confirm whether you would like the order re-shipped or refunded.

If you choose re-shipment, both the original outbound shipping cost and the international return shipping cost will be charged before the order is re-dispatched.

If you choose a refund, the refund will be processed minus the original shipping cost, the international return shipping cost, any customs fees assessed on the returned shipment re-entering Canada, and a 20% restocking fee.

Duties and taxes paid on the original outbound shipment are non-refundable as they have been remitted to US Customs and Border Protection.

11. Signature Requirements

For high-value orders, GeoBrakes or the assigned carrier may require a signature upon delivery. If a signature is required and no one is available to sign, the carrier will leave a delivery notice with instructions for re-delivery or pickup at the nearest US carrier depot. GeoBrakes is not responsible for packages that are returned to sender because they were not collected from the carrier depot within the carrier's hold period.

12. Shipping Damage

In the event that your order arrives with visible damage to the outer packaging, take the following steps immediately:

Take clear photographs of the damaged outer packaging before opening the box.

Take clear photographs of the damaged part inside the box.

Email sales@geobrakes.com or call +1 (416) 855-1496 within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and all photos.

Claims submitted more than 48 hours after confirmed delivery or without supporting photographs will not be eligible for a carrier damage claim. Save all original packaging material until the claim is fully resolved as the carrier may require inspection of the original box and packaging.

GeoBrakes will file a damage claim with the carrier on your behalf. Resolution timelines are determined by the carrier's investigation process and are outside GeoBrakes's control. GeoBrakes will not issue a replacement or refund until the carrier investigation has been completed and resolved in our favor.

13. Lost Shipments

If your order has not arrived within 12 business days of the confirmed dispatch date and your tracking shows no movement for more than 5 consecutive business days, contact us at sales@geobrakes.com or call +1 (416) 855-1496. We will open a carrier investigation on your behalf. GeoBrakes will not issue refunds or replacements for shipments that are still in active transit, held at the border, or under active carrier investigation. Please allow the full investigation timeline before a resolution is issued.

14. Free Shipping Exceptions

In rare circumstances, unusually heavy orders, oversized packaging, or orders destined for extremely remote locations in Alaska or Hawaii may be subject to additional shipping charges beyond the standard free shipping threshold. In these cases GeoBrakes will contact you before processing your order to advise of the additional cost. You will have the option to accept the additional charge, modify your order, or cancel for a full refund before the order is dispatched.
